Sketches and Drafts
A microscope consists out of hundreds of parts and for many components it s obvious where they have to be placed or they can be placed independently like a laser coupled in through a fibre. But some components, especially for the beam alignment, have to be placed in an elaborate way. Although many ways lead to the common aim of a well aligned laser beam and a homogeneous illumination at the sample plane, we will give here some small hints and drafts how the alignment and the overall assembly of a TIRF setup can look like.
